Some people are just born with all the talent in the world. One of those people happen to be Linnea Strid, from Sweden. Her oil on canvas/plywood paintings are some of the most detailed and realistic I’ve ever seen – second to Chuck Close. Most notably, is her ability to paint splashes and pools of water with extraordinary realism and believability, all while making it seem effortless.

Are you curious to know how people live on the other side of the world? What does Moscow look like between three and four in the afternoon? What happens in Rio de Janeiro between eleven and twelve at night?
See the personal impressions of city life which artists across the globe have filmed. Follow what happens from hour to hour in more than hundred cities on cityoneminutes.org.
In City One Minutes life in each city is divided into 24 one minute portraits, each depicting one hour of the day. Every film is a personal impression of the city in which the artist lives or in which he is staying.
On cityoneminutes.org you can browse through time and place in a number of ways. For example: Follow the life in Beijing throughout 24 hours; explore life in each city between 5 and 6 in the morning; watch all the films in a mosaic of cities.
Later on it will be possible to rate the films and also to create your ideal ‘dream city’ by combining minutes from different cities. Radio one minutes will also become available in the near future.
cityoneminutes.org is an organic site with an update of the newest City One Minutes every week.

Kustaa Saksi's illustrations are a syrupy disarray of elements: playful, paradoxical, often over-glossy, inviting, troubling, messy, and yet strangely clear. Radiating meaning, bending what's real and distilling what's unreal he combines organic touches and viscous shapes into new world psychedelia. After spending many years in Paris, the Finnish born illustrator found his studio on the roof of an ancient chocolate factory in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. Saksi has been working with various clients in the world of fashion, music and entertainment. His world of imagination with strict Scandinavian design roots illustrate the wonderful world of surrealistic landscapes, strange characters and strong atmosphere.

Ohio born painter, Alex Roulette, is currently working out of New York and proudly carries a BFA in Painting with a minor in Graphic Design from Maryland Institute College of Art. His painted stills seem to all share an under developed and innocent sense of Homoeroticism, with an uneasy intrusive ambiance to them. The attention paid to detail and aesthetic is absolutely impeccable and really speaks wonders for Alex’s work.
